Career Treks

Career Treks offer undergraduate and graduate biology students the opportunity to explore career paths with an onsite company tour, employee panel, job opportunities presentation, and usually a networking lunch.

Students, please read the following before registering for a Trek:

  • Students are responsible for their own transportation.
  • Register only if you can attend. Registration is a firm commitment.
  • You’ll receive an email confirming your spot or waitlist status. Treks are first come, first served, and space is limited.
  • You can attend one Trek per quarter. If confirmed for multiple Treks, reply to decline those you will not attend.
  • You cannot attend the same company’s Trek more than once. For example, attending Thermo Fisher in Fall means you cannot attend again in Spring.
  • Do not register if your class overlaps with a Trek. Excused absences are not provided for class conflicts.
  • You must stay for the entire Trek. Early departures are not permitted.
